Cupra Marittima

Cupra Marittima belongs to the area of the Riviera of the lower coast of the Marche. The town has over 5,000 inhabitants, which doubles in summer due to increasing tourism.
Cupra Marittima originated in prehistoric times and is developed later during the Picena civilization and the Roman period.
A long bike and pedestrian track crosses the country on the waterfront, and continues uninterrupted until the southern end of the town of San Benedetto del Tronto.
The sea is clean and quiet (European Blue Flag since 1997) with fine, golden sand beaches and the promenade is ideal for long walks and cycling.
